Starmenized II
With their sights still set on the stars, the Swedish hardrock-band Starmen returns with their fifth album – Starmenized II. After the success of Starmenized (2023) and the career-spanning compilation The Best of Starmen – Volume 1 (2024), the guys are now back with another explosive collection. Among the album’s irresistible tracks, the melodic hardrock once again takes the front seat, featuring previously unreleased gems from the Starmenized sessions along with the brand-new anthem Born to Rock. Graphically packaged in their signature retro comic book style, the album continues the band’s tradition of powerful riffs, melodic hooks, and timeless rock star attitude.

Stockholm, October 24, 2025 Swedish hard rock band Starmen continues their journey toward their fifth studio album Starmenized II with the release of their brand-new single and music video “15 Minutes of Pain”, out today on all digital platforms. Following the energetic first single Trouble, this new track dives deeper into the band’s signature sound — blending classic arena rock with modern melodic punch, soaring vocals, and a big chorus that sticks instantly. “This song has been finished for quite some time and has always been one of our favorites. We’re really excited to finally share it with all our listeners,” says frontman Kristian Hermanson (Red Starman). ”Musically, it’s got that big Starmen sound — catchy, powerful, and straight from the heart.” Since their formation in 2020, Starmen have cemented their position in the rock world with their own unique musical DNA. Following the acclaimed album Starmenized (2023) and the career-spanning compilation The Best of Starmen – Volume 1 (2024), the band now prepares to release Starmenized II — featuring both previously unreleased material and the brand-new song Born to Rock. Starmenized II is produced by Kristian Hermanson, mixed and mastered by CJ Grimmark (Narnia), with all artwork and design by Jonatan Samuelsson. PRESS RELEASE – SEPTEMBER 26th, 2025 Stockholm, September 26, 2025 Swedish hard rock band Starmen follows up the success of Starmenized (2023) with their fifth studio album, Starmenized II. The first single and music video, Trouble, is released today. Since their formation in 2020, Starmen have cemented their position in the rock world with their own unique musical DNA. Following the success of Starmenized (2023) and the career-spanning compilation The Best of Starmen – Volume 1 (2024), the band now digs into their vault. During the writing sessions for Starmenized, the band ended up with around 30 tracks, but only ten made it onto the album. Now, the strongest of the previously unreleased songs will be released together with the brand-new track “Born to Rock” on the band’s fifth studio album, Starmenized II. “We had so many great songs left from the last album that it would have been a waste not to release them,” says bassist Jonatan Samuelsson (Gold Starman). In addition to the previously unreleased material, the album features the brand-new single “Born to Rock”, written and performed by Samuelsson. The remaining tracks are primarily written and performed by the band’s frontman, rhythm guitarist, and main songwriter, Kristian Hermanson (Red Starman). Starmen was formed in 2018 as a high-energy tribute to the rock heroes of the ’70s and ’80s, complete with bold colors and their signature star-shaped makeup.
Their first four albums — Kiss the Sky, Welcome to My World, By the Grace of Rock ’n’ Roll and Starmenized — released by Melodic Passion Records and distributed worldwide by Sound Pollution Distribution and in Japan, took the rock media by storm with their high-quality, classic, melodic hard rock. Starmen quickly cemented their place in the rock world with their own musical DNA.
After receiving brilliant reviews, they released the career-spanning The Best of Starmen – Volume 1 in November 2024.
The band now returns with their fifth studio album Starmenized II, set for release November 28th 2025.
